Hi my name is Vana and I'm not sure what I did wrong but my first owners dumped my brothers and sisters and I on the side of the road on the highway.

I dont know why humans think its ok to leave us in these places with no one to watch out for us.'

I remember the ride to a place that couldn't keep us so they called our Foster Mumma at the Sanctuary and she told me she took one look at us and said "Yes Yes Yes lets save these babies"

There were 6 of us and they called us the  "Highway Gang "

My other brothers and sisters have all found their homes and just my brother Vinny and I are hanging out at the sanctuary. Foster Mumma says we need to find our  people so we can enjoy living a life with a family .

I am crate trained and still learning to walk on a lead.

I'm a shy kinda girl and I love playing with the dogs here, the big ones and the smaller ones . There are cats, chickens , a lamb, a mumma cow and her calf and they don't bother me so I don't bother them .

I love my cuddles with my humans and my Foster Mumma says I'm pretty good with my recall,although sometimes I'm a little hesitant as I'm still learning to trust humans...after all the first humans really did let us down when they left us on the side of the road
